QA Analyst

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Software Tester with a minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, including strong expertise in automation tools. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of software applications through thorough testing and process improvement, with a focus on developing and maintaining automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated) based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, Cypress, or similar.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Mantis, JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and product quality.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Ensure testing best practices are followed and assist in refining testing strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Proven experience in automation testing tools such as:
    • Selenium WebDriver
    • Postman / REST Assured (for API testing)
    • Jenkins / CI-CD tools
    • JUnit/TestNG/NUnit
    • Cypress / Playwright (optional but preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of scripting/programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and SDLC/STLC.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience in testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or related areas.
Salary: As Per Industry Standard.
